FOPE's tale of beauty begins in 1929. From the Veneto region of northeastern Italy in the town of Vicenza, Umberto Cazzola embarked on a journey that would eventually change the world of fine jewelry. His first workshop was an incubator for the company's specialty watchstraps made of gold and other precious metals and sought out by many Swiss watchmaking brands. After years of refinement, Cazzola taught his goldsmithing art to his son, who in turn passed his love down to his own son as well. After three generations of study and practice, the company began to design and manufacture their own line of jewelry. FOPE's Novecento mesh brought the brand both national and international recognition for its innovative design, born of industrious passion. Today, FOPE jewelry is crafted in the same town from whence it sprang, Vicenza, and not far from the original location. The production facility is home to expert designers, craftsmen and cutting-edge technology that together make the creation and execution of their time-tested pieces possible. The fate and fortune of FOPE still lies in the hands of the Cazzola family, with grandchildren and great grandchildren at the helm of research, development and marketing. The current product narrative tells A Tale of Beauty, set in scenes 'between dreams and reality'. In small towns, vineyards, Palladian villas and golden cornfields, two beautiful protagonists are on the journey to the roots of Italian style.
